Where I've Worked
JUL 2026 - PRESENT
Embedded Software Engineer · Riverside Research
Technologies: Android/AOSP, Linux kernel, ARM, ADB, U-Boot, device trees, RNDIS/ECM/WLAN
- Develop and debug software for embedded Android/Linux platforms and ARM-based hardware.
- Work with AOSP, Linux kernel configuration, device trees, and hardware/software interfaces to support embedded platform development.
- Investigate low-level system behavior through ADB, shell utilities, kernel logs, networking interfaces, and serial debugging.
- Analyze embedded networking and connectivity, including interfaces such as RNDIS, ECM, and WLAN.
- Work with U-Boot, device-tree binaries, kernel modules, and Linux system configuration during platform bring-up and debugging.
- Create test scripts for EMC stress testing.
JUL 2022 - JUL 2026
Quality Engineer II · Alarm.com
Technologies: Java, Python, ADB, Linux, REST APIs, embedded systems debugging
- Built automation tools and testing frameworks to improve validation coverage for embedded video doorbell platforms.
- Led cross-functional testing and performance analysis for 1M+ deployed IoT devices, identifying reliability and thermal performance issues.
- Performed low-level debugging on embedded Linux video platforms using UART access to SoC and MCU logs.
- Supported integration and testing of Sunflower Labs’ autonomous security drone within the Alarm.com ecosystem.
- Serve as a team resource for AI-assisted development workflows, helping engineers leverage LLM tools and automation to accelerate debugging and internal tooling development.
MAY - AUG 2021
